ALEGRíA (JOY), HARTO ARTE MURAL FESTIVAL
MORELIA, MEXICO | 2025

JY Originals was invited to join 94 other visual artists from around the globe to participate in the international street art mural festival “Harto Arte” in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. She completed her 20.5 x 6.5 foot piece during the 48-hour festival with a combination of aerosol (spray paint) + acrylic materials. The overlapping geometric letters that read “ALEGRíA” — or “JOY” in Spanish — are Young’s ethos in essence: joy, shapes, bold colors, smooth blends + sharp precision on a textured brick wall of the local elementary school.
