JY Originals was commissioned to liven up the Lincoln Park office space for Embarc employees. The bright, bold color blocking is full of overlaying shapes + colors that at first glance seem to be ordinary elements of Young’s work.

After a closer look, you will find the story of the Embarc Chicago experience: the left side of the double-wall is an abstract depiction of a beam of light + aqua stripes falling downward as the watering + nurturing Embarc demonstrates with their students. The story continues with building blocks that help youth reach new heights, together with the support of their Embarc community — represented by the signature triangles, as usual. The third + opposite wall shows the green grass blades rising from the surface, budding new flowers/fruits/[insert more inspiration, here!].

The office space is meant to feel collaborative, energizing, bright + evergreen.
